About Me

I'm a teacher, author, wife, mother, and grandma! I taught elementary school for 35 joyous years, for the most part enjoying the special delight of working with gifted children, who have inspired many of my stories. 

Now in retirement, I'm thrilled to have more free time to write for children, an interest I've had ever since I felt the thrill of owning my very own library card at the age of five; I just LUV books! 

I love to travel and explore unusual places.  

Life is about serendipity! 

I'm a member of SCBWI- the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators, LICWI - Long Island Children's Writers and Illustrators, and the LI Association of Jewish Librarians.
